Singer Substation Flood Mitigation Project

Purpose/Customer Benefits: Provide flood protection to this critical transmission asset during severe weather conditions. The project scope includes installation of flood walls and gates around the substation perimeter, reinforcement of the GIS (gas insulated switchgear) building walls, as well as installation of storm water management system.

The containment system and the floodwall are complete. All major construction activities surrounding the station, including partial restoration, are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
