Singer Substation Flood Mitigation Project

Purpose/Customer Benefits: Provide flood protection to this critical transmission asset during severe weather conditions. The project scope includes installation of flood walls and gates around the substation perimeter, reinforcement of the GIS (gas insulated switchgear) building walls, as well as installation of storm water management system.

Current Status: Construction inside the GIS(Gas Insulated Substation) Building is complete. Flood wall construction to start after completion of detailed engineering and obtaining regulatory and environmental permits.
